Institutional Securities Group Product Operations (ISGPO) partners closely with Sales & Trading and our Clients to process daily activities, develop and implement new products and services, as well as drive efficiency and reduce risk in our processes. ISGPO is comprised of 5 departments: Client Operations, Trading Operations, Financing & Collateral Operations, Trade & Transaction Reporting Operations (TTRO) and Change the Bank (CTB).

    • Process Tri-party and bilateral collateral optimization, sourcing and exposure management.
    • Ensuring the efficient and timely processing of the Equity and FID financing book including recalls, substitutions, restrictions, pledging, exposure management and projections of future requirements and book breakdown.
    • To advise the BRM on the freedoms/limitations of collateral management in Tri-Party, including the ability of Tri-Party to enforce stipulations applicable to a bilateral trade.
    • To become a contact for BRM operations for other interacting areas including Trading, Sales, Finance, IT and supporting teams such as settlements and client service functions.
    • Position reconciliation between Agent and Morgan Stanley.
    • Provide daily financing projection to the business unit.
    • Collate and distribute key metric data to stakeholders such as collateral schedules and haircuts.
    • Collate and distribute collateral availability to Bank Resource Management.
    • Ensure the timely processing of cash movements between Morgan Stanley, its clients and agents.
    • Provide funding projections to cash management and BRM to ensure correct funding across Morgan Stanley's bank QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • To work effectively with your peers a need to share knowledge, acting as a team to get the most out of this role and the team that support the role.
    • Daily deadlines are inflexible and must be met to prevent business critical failures.
    • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients is paramount.
    • Team play and leadership is vital.
    • There is a need for constant communication with your manager, your team, and many departments within the bank.
    • Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity products, settlement processes and current market initiatives is vital.
    • High degree of accuracy and a willingness to learn new products is essential. As the product lead a willingness to adapt to new initiatives and put forward your own ideas is paramount.
    • Diplomacy and accuracy in dealing with clients, brokers, sales people and the daily management of the team.
    • You will understand the relationships our traders and sales force hold with their clients and be motivated towards increasing their market share, while having a full understanding of the economics behind the trading activity.
