JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re seeking a Mortgage Operations Analyst with experience in reviewing mortgage loan files and completing various tasks across the stages of the mortgage loan origination process:

• Prepares accurate disclosures or closing documents on First Mortgages and HELOC loans from application to post-closing

• Generates Federal, State-Specific and SVB specific disclosures and closing documents during various phases of loan process including Initial Disclosure; Approval; Closing; Funding, and Post Closing.

• Ensures compliance with company policy and federal and state regulatory guidelines and regulated timeframes.

In our Mortgage Operations teams, you will become the expert in a primary area role and cross-trained in other areas including the below:

• Initial Disclosure/Appraisal Desk

• Pre- Processing

• Doc Specialist

• Funding

Required Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of mortgage regulatory requirements that apply to the Bank: TRID, Regulation B, E.C.O.A., Regulation V, Regulation Z, Regulation X, E-Sign, and HMDA.

• Familiarity with Encompass Loan Origination Software is highly desired.

• Skills in preparing spreadsheets and in analyzing data preferred

• Ability to take initiative and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to continue learning for both personal and professional growth

• Excellent time management and attention to detail are critical to this position.

• Good analytical, research, organizational, and project management skills.

• Strong individual contributor with the ability to work effectively as a team.

• 1-2 years of related Mortgage Operations experience OR 2-5 years of overall experience (financial services industry, preferably mortgage or loan services)

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Hybrid Location: must be within 60 miles of a SVB offices: Santa Clara, CA, San Francisco, CA, Tempe, AZ, Boston MA

BASE PAY:

$44,819.00 - $80,340.00

Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
