As Mortgage Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:
perform daily pricing analysis to ensure competitive mortgage pricing for all mortgage products
maintain/administer product rate sheets for portfolio and agency pricing
develop appropriate, timely and measurable marketing initiatives for key strategic objectives of the business unit including
programs to acquire new customers, retain existing customers and deepen customer relationships via cross-sell opportunities of HSBC products and services.
develop mid-term strategy and quarterly operating plans for assigned areas
support execution of strategies to maximize profitability for assigned product category and/or customer segment
collaborate with management to implement marketing strategy, including creation of campaigns, forecasting portfolio growth, up-sell, cross-sell and retention initiatives.
monitor competitive position within applicable customer segments and overall industry through ongoing market research, industry studies, data warehouse analysis and feedback from other business units and line managers
provide coverage for the Mortgage Pricing Manager when out of office.
Requirements
Employment eligibility to work with HSBC in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
Minimum of 5 years proven and progressive financial services industry experience or equivalent, with strong knowledge of mortgage products.
Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience.
Strong proven analytical skills and mathematical aptitude. Detail oriented with ability to effectively communicate.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, performing critical tasks accurately and timely.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of statistics and/or modeling.
