You should also have: * A high school diploma and preferably some college coursework * One year of related work experience in a service-oriented position * General knowledge of insurance policies and practices, preferably commercial processing or services support Job Summary A typical day in the life of a Commercial Lines Processor: Reviewing and analyzing commercial, farm, and/or specialty lines risks against established procedures and best practices Performing rating/coding for quotes, new business, renewals, and policy changes Ensuring submitted document compliance and accuracy by communicating with agents, underwriting, and applicants Maintaining knowledge of state-specific processing procedures, systems, pricing guidelines, eligibility, and team concepts Referencing coding manuals for appropriate premium calculations and policy master file revisions Correcting errors or recognizing premium refund instances Checking production reports for accuracy Jumping in to complete other tasks as needed Compensation amp; Benefits You receive a starting salary of $32,240 ($16/hr) with opportunities to increase salary based on performance.
