    Quality Inspector Lumberton, North Carolina, United States - Position: Quality Control Inspector Shift: 1st shift Reports To: Jonie Hunt Job Class: Factory Hourly Location: Lumberton, NC General Responsibility The Quality Assurance Inspector shall support the Engineering Department by assisting in the reduction of manufacturing and vendor inefficiencies through the product testing and inspection to conformance of Quickie standard engineering and quality requirements Job Duties/Essential Functions Quality assurance inspection for new and existing products, including raw material components. Carry out testing procedures following test methods and criteria specified. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all testing, audits, and findings. Suggest and implement continuing improvement measures. Conducts quality assurance training for manufacturing employees as needed. Act as a liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality system. Performs duties in compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintains regular and predictable attendance. Performs other assignments as requested or as business needs require. Promotes a safe and healthy work environment on all company property to achieve the best working conditions for all employees and visitors. Minimum Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or GED preferred, with 2 to 5 years general manufacturing experience, at least two of which have been at Quickie. Additional experience in Statistical Quality Control / Statistical Process Control is preferred.
