SUMMARY:
The position belongs to Operations Planning and Control Unit (“the Unit”) and is responsible for supporting department-wide activities. The Unit’s activities do not only pertain to Mizuho Bank Ltd. (BK) New York Branch, but they also encompass Mizuho U.S. Operations (MUSO) as well as other non-U.S. BK subsidiaries and branches.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
General Duties
Perform administrative tasks related to project management and execution of operational excellence initiatives, throughout project life cycle including:
Current situation analysis
Business requirement analysis
Target Operating Model (TOM) development
Project initiation & planning
Project execution
Post execution follow-up
Track status of projects and initiatives promoted by various Operations units
Process balance confirmation issuance
Compile data and create managerial reports
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Policy:
Obtain a basic understanding of the applicable rules and regulations that govern the Bank. Understand that all questions and/or clarification about such rules and regulations should be directed to Americas Legal and Compliance Division. Read and respond as necessary to all compliance-related reference and directive materials received. Comply with the Bank’s “Code of Conduct”.
Follow all the policies and procedures of the bank that are applicable to the position.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE:
College or Associate degree plus minimum 3-5 year professional experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Proficient in MS Office: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
