Position The Graphic Artist role within our organization is to be the creative engine behind our product design. Since our products are custom made and unique, the Graphic Artist is responsible for taking our clients concepts and ideas and translating them into a 3D design and schematic drawing. The 3D design becomes the basis on which the client will evaluate the concept and judge our work while the schematic drawings will be used in the manufacturing of the product in our various factories around the world. This position requires that you be able to use your creative genius to take sometimes general design themes or concepts and translate them into impactful designs that will convey the importance of the event or transaction being commemorated. The majority of our design work is done in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Strata 3D. Success in this role will require creativity (obviously!), strong attention to detail, ability to draw vector art, ability to create 3D models, and the ability to typeset according to client-defined style sheets. Work Environment This job operates in a professional open office environment. We are headquartered in one of the WeWork facilities in the financial district. Required Education and Experience The ideal candidate will have a college degree and at least two years of work experience, however, we will consider those candidates that are currently working towards a degree or have more extensive work experience. Compensation starts at $38,000 per year, but candidates with significant relevant experience may qualify for a higher starting salary.
