Annuity Workflow Specialist Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company 18 reviews - Philadelphia, PA 19103 Job Summary: The Annuity Workflow Specialist is responsible for the efficient and timely assessment and dissemination of daily inbound annuity applications, payments and related supporting materials. He/she will lead the coordination process between the new business intake and analyst functions, and will partner with the in force team on service requests. The Specialist will have distinct responsibilities related to both the new business and in force business units, and he/she will be cross trained in both areas to be able to assist during peak volume periods. Duties and Responsibilities: Core Functions * Coordinate workflow traffic across both the new business and in force annuity service teams * Complete the timely and accurate daily deposit process for new annuity premium checks * New business database management to document fund receipts * Manage tracking system and related processes for inbound applications and payments * Overnight, Fax and Mail management including timely documentation and dissemination * Coordinate distribution by analyst assignment including contingency plans based on volume, PTO, etc. * Management tracking and report for daily/weekly volume analysis and process improvement * Support In force Analyst team in the processing of non-disbursement requests (i.e., Beneficiary Changes, Transfers of Ownership, Asset Verification, etc.) * Agent/Annuity communication as directed, including follow-up for outstanding requirement fulfillment * Support core New business Intake and Analyst teams, including coding new cases in Leverage administration system * Input all application suitability review data * Set up new case files, assign contract numbers, and deliver to the New Business Analysts * Assisting with the preparation and mailing of annuity contracts. Education, Qualifications and Experience: * High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required. Bachelors degree preferred. * Minimum of two (2) years related experience in a financial services or insurance processing environment.
