CME Group is currently looking for a summer intern for the Risk Management Policy team. This summer internship experience provides an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the financial services industry, specifically within the Clearing House, and discover the vital role clearing plays in maintaining the safety and efficiency of financial markets.
This candidate will assist the Risk Management Policy team on day-to-day activities in support of CME Clearing. This role will include analysis and synthesis of recent regulatory developments, communicating regulatory developments with relevant stakeholders, and assistance in educational and transparency efforts related to CME Clearing's risk management policies and procedures.
Principal Accountabilities:
Assist the Risk Management Policy team on long-term objectives and day-to-day tasks
Support broader efforts to shape risk management policy
Work cross-functionally to collaborate with other teams within CME Clearing
Skills / Software Requirements:
Microsoft Suite - Excel & PowerPoint
Google Workspace - Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or another field with a demonstrated interest or passion for financial markets
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work from Chicago (office is located at 20 S Wacker Dr, Chicago IL 60606)

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
