TD Ameritrade is looking for dynamic, data hungry candidates for our Rotational Data Analyst role within the Emerging Talent Program starting in June 2020. You'll hear us reference our Emerging Talent Program quite often. We consider it one of our premier early talent opportunities and it's a program we're quite proud of. We call it ETP for short. Our ETP is a structured program with a dedicated program manager who oversees the program holistically, and a manager with-in the business who you'll report to directly. Another unique aspect of our program is that you will be part of a larger cohort of other recent college graduates, so you'll have a built-in network of fellow ETPs from day one! You will attend program kickoff and ongoing professional development sessions together, move through your rotations, and be placed in your final roles at the same time. The relationships our ETPs build continue well beyond the program. This specific Rotational Data Analyst opportunity is located in Jersey City, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Rotational Data Analyst, each of your rotations will focus on building quantitative & qualitative analytical skills. Through in-depth experiences within multiple departments, you will grow your industry knowledge and learn various aspects of TD Ameritrade. Rotational experiences may include opportunities to:

• Work on critical business and strategy development projects
• Construct quantitative and qualitative analyses on pressing business issues
• Produce and distribute comprehensive reports to communicate insights, key metrics, and business drivers to senior leadership
• Leverage internal and external benchmark data to report trends, identify opportunities, and make recommendations
• Conduct market research, cost/benefit analysis, and forecasting for new product development
• Analyze client behavior and relationship health to drive actions of frontline associates and inform sales service and marketing initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduating with your Bachelor's degree in December 2019 or May\June 2020
• 3.0 minimum major GPA
• Majors in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Management or related field preferred; other majors will be considered if a strong desire to work in a data analytics capacity within the Brokerage or Financial Services industry can be demonstrated
• Relevant internship, co-op, or work experience strongly preferred
• 1+ years of leadership or extracurricular activity involvement
• Proven abilities in interpreting large quantities of data and structuring follow-up analyses
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office® applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with or desire to learn advanced functions within Excel, Access, Tableau and SQL (List all applicable skills on resume.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel to Southlake, TX for first two weeks of program. Travel is minimum after first two weeks
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
