As a member of the HR Service Center, you will act as a first point of contact to HR on questions by employees of all US based RBC companies, vendors and other interested parties. Responsible for providing superior customer service using professional phone skills. You will ensure the accurate and timely resolution of all questions and issues to the center within the specified timeframe. Escalates calls as necessary through designated channels. Generally only the most complex questions (tax, garnishment, exceptions to policies, etc.) are referred further. You will also be responsible for entry of employee data into the HRIS system as well as logging activity into the call tracking software. What will you do? Perform as a member the HRSC team that support all HR functions in the accurate and timely resolution of questions and issues that come into the department. Utilizing technology, efficiently track calls received in the HRSC. Provide clear documentation of call type, status and resolution. Accurately enter employee data changes into SAP meeting the specified time requirements. Work with management to identify workflow issues and identify process improvement opportunities and continually seek to stay current on company policies, procedures and organizational changes. Meet or exceed all individual call and transaction performance measures. Commitment to the protection of privacy for all employee data. Reprioritize tasks to meet fluctuating workflows. Work with vendors to support questions and inquiries as they arise. What do you need to succeed? Must-have 2 years college or post high school training and/or experience in related area with 1-3 years customer service experience (preferably in Call Center and/or Human Resources), or equivalent experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while ensuring that assigned job responsibilities are met. Strong attention to details and accuracy and the ability to work independently. Good organizational skills with excellent problem solving skills. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Nice-to-have 4 years college degree. 1-3 years experience using SAP system. Experience reviewing and validating pre-employment background checks. Whats in it for you?
