    YOUR TIME HERE WILL LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS...

    Citi's Sophomore Leadership Program is a ten-week paid internship in New York City focused on providing exceptional sophomore students from all backgrounds with training, mentorship, and exposure to different Institutional Clients Group (ICG) businesses. The program begins with a robust 1-week training program that covers both technical and soft skills training followed by an internship in one of the business lines outlined below. To further learning and development, interns will also complete a group project, join lunch and learns, attend executive speaker series, and participate in cross-business networking events. There are formal evaluations and upon successful completion of the program, analysts (in the sole discretion of Citi) may be offered placement into our junior program the following summer. Sophomore Leadership Program Lines of Business:

    • Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory: Interns will rotate within two groups or desks in one of the business lines outlined below to gain exposure to different areas of focus

    • Corporate Banking: Provides relationship coverage, credit expertise and tailored financing solutions, including loans, investment grade debt, cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, and derivatives to corporate, financial service and public sector clients.

    • Investment Banking: Provides sector expertise and strategic advisory solutions, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and other strategic financings to corporate, financial service and public sector clients.

    • Capital Markets: Origination structures and underwrites transactions for our clients to allow them to fund acquisitions, growth, recapitalizations, and refinancing in the debt and equity markets.

    • Markets: Markets interacts with both investor and issuer clients. We buy, sell, and structure across equities, commodities, credit, futures and FX. Interns can rotate through a variety of these products, or choose a more technical route and explore opportunities within our Markets Quantitative Analysis (MQA) groups.

    • Treasury and Trade Solutions: A two rotation internship within Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business provides an integrated mix of cash management and trade services & finance solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and public sector organizations.

    You are a Sophomore and currently enrolled in a four-year Baccalaureate Degree program from an accredited institution. Open to all disciplines and majors 3.3 GPA or above.

    Those interested in returning for Citi's junior analyst program and have a commitment to personal growth and career development with a strong desire to learn and succeed in a team environment. Strong communication, planning and organization skills with analytical and quantitative skills and a desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry. Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is preferred and not required, but you must have an unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.

    Candidates are selected based on their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, campus leadership, and interest in the financial services industry. Extensive work experience is not a requirement, but a dedication to learning and a true passion for the business are vital.
