Job Description
The Pricing Strategy team at Visa is responsible for managing pricing with the objective of driving revenue growth of Visa’s network and adoption of services globally. Pricing is a critical lever in driving these objectives and is central to Visa’s business. The Global Pricing Strategy team provides pricing expertise and collaborates with cross-functional teams and product owners to develop go-to-market strategies, client deal strategies, and multi-year financial planning. We are a small but impactful team which works with leaders and executives to design pricing solutions and drive revenue growth.
The Senior Manager, North America Pricing Strategy, will support and lead projects related to Visa’s North America pricing strategy and broader corporate initiatives, with focus on client pricing and strategy. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, ideally with a background in consulting/strategy coupled with operational experience. This person will be recognized as a leader by peers and senior management, will think strategically and holistically about the business, and excel at quickly grasping and clearly communicating complex topics. Your work will be highly visible to leadership and will drive key insights for management discussions. The Senior Manager will report to the Senior Director, North America Pricing Strategy.
Essential Functions:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least
5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or
2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
•9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or
more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
•Experience and exposure to pricing management within industry preferred (i.e.
software, telecommunications, consumer goods)
•Ability to lead and influence decisions of others, including North America
leadership team and other partners
•Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and
processes with multiple stakeholders
•Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual
and analytical rigor
•Proven leader, with experience leading and executing complex, cross-
functional strategic projects
•Strong interpersonal skills with presence and the ability to clearly
communicate compelling messages to senior and executive management,
clients, peers, and team members
•Ability to work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often
ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to
senior and executive management, while supporting syndication with
stakeholders across the organization.
•Eagerness to work intensively in joint teams with personnel of all levels to
accomplish project objectives.
•Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Information
** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.
** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 142,200.00 to 206,350.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
