    Job Description

    As Solution Architect / Sales Engineer you will be a key stakeholder in our fast-growing US office. You will help sell and lead implementations and projects for our most important customers like big merchants, leading fintech’s, platforms, and banks.

    As Solution Architect/Sales Engineer, you will help our customers understand how they can integrate with the Tink platform with the goal of unlocking new business value for our customers.

    As the role is customer facing, you will impact our team's overall delivery and product roadmap together with our developers and product owners as they will rely on you to source insights from our customers and feed them into our organization.

    You will work cross functionally and collaborate closely with many different functions within the company, such as Business Development and Product.

    Essential Functions

    • You will be the source of Technical and Product expertise and advisory to clients, colleagues and prospects in the US market, primarily focusing on fintechs
    • You will support the entire sales process from project qualification to RFI/RFP and complex technical workshops
    • You will advise clients on best-practice solutions for their use cases, with a big focus on conversion, UX, success rates, mobile app (iOS/Android) flows
    • Educate clients on the US open banking landscape, connectivity layers and Tink’s differentiating capabilities within the space
    • You will be involved in day collaboration with external stakeholders
    • Within digital partnerships, you will be responsible for educating digital banks, investments applications, gaming merchants, and other fintechs, on how Tink can create value for them
    • You will collaborate closely with Business Developers, Strategy Managers and Product Managers to tailor each project for our prospective and existing clients
    • You will share learnings, challenge our ways of working, and create best practices to help our clients get the maximum potential from our solutions

    This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
    • You have prior experience from a technical role with technical understanding of APIs, SDKs
    • Your work experience is focused on sales engineering for technical product
    • Experience from a high growth technology company, financial services industry, or strategy consulting (tech focus)
    • You have a solid track record of success in sales engineering with technical products - ideally in payments
    • Demonstrated ability to lead digital business development projects from end to end, demonstrated ability to transpose complex integration projects into clear and clean high-quality client presentations and/or solution diagrams
    • You have prior experience from a position with B2B client interaction, preferably with a customizable and evolving API-based product
    • Ability to drive UX and design related workshops focused on optimizing end-to-end mobile and browser flows
    • Personal attributes: communicative, structured, ability to convey complex topics, interest in and understanding of technology, solution oriented, strong inner drive and curiosity to learn new things, attention to detail and a team player.

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $132,300 to $176.500 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
