    Job Description

    Acceptance Solutions Payer Interface team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled development Engineer and client integration expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the health of our systems. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Feature development: * Develop features and tools to automate routine tasks and client Integrations * Fix and address the production issues if any. * Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance. * Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth development and deployment of new features and updates. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on system status and incidents. * Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

    • Client Integration: * Serve as the primary technical contact for clients during the integration process. * Coordinate with clients to understand their technical requirements and ensure seamless integration with our systems. * Develop and maintain integration documentation and guides for clients. * Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner. * Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to enhance integration processes and tools.

    • Incident Management:

      • Respond to and resolve production incidents promptly.
      • Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and implement corrective actions.
      • Document incident reports and resolution steps.
      • Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues, including application errors, server failures, and network problems.
      • Use debugging tools and techniques to analyze logs and system behavior.
    • Generative AI: * Use Gen AI and big data to identify opportunities and work with partner teams to improve systems availability and automate/optimize operations. * Stay updated with the latest advancements in GEN AI and machine learning technologies. * Lead and guide the team in AI design, code and implement new algorithms to solve complex problems

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Basic Qualifications
    5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications
    6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
    •Strong hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, RDBMS, Spring Boot.
    •Strong experience incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, Puppet.
    •Building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
    •Good Knowledge in Cloud Technologies (AWS or Azure or GCP)
    •Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration services.
    •Divides time between active coding related activities, client integration, incident management.
    •Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
    •Thrives in a fast-paced environment producing and supporting business services with tier 1 severity and flexible to work with distributed global teams and willing to support clients globally
    •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
    •As an end-end champion for your products, you will have strong debugging and Unix skills to help support our Operations teams.
    •A background in the payment’s domain is a plus

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,700.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
