Education : Masters Degree Experience : 36 Hours per Week : 40 Description : eFX Trader, Financial Markets (Standard Chartered Bank; New York, NY) Monitor risk in the real-time production trading environment, review the Bank's client/channel segmentation and client flow and analyze historical client data to recommend changes to pricing. Identify opportunities for purchase or sale of securities or commodities. Monitor, analyze and tune pricing strategies for the Bank's eFX franchise. Analyze historical market data to enhance risk and execution strategies. Track and analyze factors that affect price movement, such as trade policies, political developments, or supply and demand changes. Communicate with senior team leads and eSales as well as development and support teams to implement compliance procedures. Support the expansion of the eFX franchise within the confines of the Bank's Regulatory framework. Agree on buying or selling prices at optimal levels for clients. Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations. Embed Operational Risk monitoring framework as an integral part of the business process. Monitor the business' obligations to prevent money laundering under the Group Policy and Standards and under local laws and regulations. Review securities transactions to ensure conformance to regulations. Implement appropriate internal controls and procedures and monitor the operation of such procedures and controls and regularly review them to ensure that they reflect changes in products, systems, policy and regulations. Develop team expectations and collaboration plans with risk and control partners. Prepare financial reports, such as reviews of portfolio positions. Identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate risks to the Group. Interpret the Group's financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
