    Disputes Representative Suncoast Credit Union 83 reviews - Tampa, FL Position Overview: Researches and assists members with all disputed transactions for ACH, plastics, and credit bureaus. Provides detailed information to assist in the resolution of disputed transactions. Ensures that disputed member transactions for ACH, plastics, and credit bureaus are investigated and processed accurately and on a timely basis. Follows service standards, policies and guidelines set forth by Suncoast, Visa International, and the CFPB. Adheres to NACHA policies regarding ACH disputes. Responds as appropriate to credit bureau inquiries. Obtains additional documentation and information from members to assist in researching disputed transactions. Provides provisional credit as deemed necessary. Performs reversals as appropriate and completes all required correspondence to members in accordance with policies and guidelines set forth by Suncoast, Visa, and the CFPB. Attends job-specific training classes as requested by Manager. This includes, but is not limited to, completing annual BSA/AML Compliance Training and understanding employees role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program, and completing FACT Act Red Flag training. Requirements Minimum Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years previous work experience in the financial services industry. Previous experience with disputes and chargebacks is desired. Able to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities, and meet deadlines. Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized. General knowledge and understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures, especially as they apply to disputes. General knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to, Visa error resolution, and chargeback regulations. General knowledge and understanding of all Credit Union computer systems and software programs required to perform job duties. Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with members, vendors, and all staff. Must be able to work under moderate supervision.
