SUMMARY Performs functions associated with processing loss drafts including depositing drafts and releasing draws, ordering inspections, customer service and filing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Reviews paid receipts, contractor bids, and proposals to ensure that prior funds released have been utilized for current home repairs. * Receives claim checks, endorses directly to borrower and mails with letter or deposit and releases first draw with claim instruction package. * Orders and follow-ups on property inspections by entering required information into inspection companies systems and specifying appropriate type of inspection. * Responds to leader or borrower questions relating to claims check processing by researching information and distribution status. * Reviews loan history and perform loan checks to ensure loan payments are current and do not contain any stop codes, second liens, or any other discrepancies or delinquencies prior to the release of the claim funds. * Prepares claim files for each claim received and accurately files all original documents. * Tracks and monitors the status of all claims. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Must have some college courses in Business, Management, Communications, Marketing, related field or equivalent experience. * Must have at least 3 years of high-level data entry, in-bound, out-bound or other related call center, telemarketing or related experience. Mortgage insurance experience preferred. * Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and oral), and telephone etiquette skills. * Must have analytical and strong detail orientation skills. * Must be able to work under sometimes stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm. * Must possess a working knowledge of Personal Computers to include MS Word, Excel and Internet. * Must be able to type 40 WPM accurately and be proficient with 10-key calculator. * Must be able to move up to 5-10 pounds of files or other documents. * Must be able to stoop, kneel, or stand for extended periods of time while filing.
