Tax Oriented Investments (TOI) invests in affordable housing, renewable energy and leases. The TOI group employs 100 professionals, is based in Chicago, and is part of the Investment Bank’s Securitized Products Group.

TOI’S SUMMER INTERN POSITIONS
Tax Oriented Investments (TOI) is seeking a rising senior student (college level) to assist with a wide range of important tasks and duties related to TOI’s investments. Roles will be in the Renewable Energy Origination, Affordable Housing, Structured Housing, or Portfolio Management groups.Responsibilities include learning the structures, models, and products, participating on deal teams, and supporting any other needs of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors proficient in Microsoft Office applications (strong Excel skills).
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills are essential to this position.
Strong academic background.
TOI’S SUMMER INTERN POSITION-WITH ENGINEERING CONCENTRATION
Tax Oriented Investments (TOI) is seeking a rising senior student (college level) to assist with TOI’s Energy Investments. Role will be on the Renewable Energy Asset Management team. Responsibilities include learning the energy structures and assets, supporting the engineers within the team, and working independently on special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should have strong computer skills and overall software “agility”. Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint are a must. Access skills would be a plus.
Good communication skills and organizational/time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at once are required.
A technical or engineering major would be valuable but not necessary, although strong analytical and math skills are important.
Exposure to renewable energy or finance courses is a plus.
