  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Develop accessible and compelling content as the technical writing subject matter expert for responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQ), bids, and pre-qualifications.
    • Collaborate with the proposal team, sales and business development staff, marketing and communications team, engineers and others to develop content to support a range of commercial activities. Working collaboratively in all facets of the writing, editing, and review process.
    • Heavy focus on collaboratively editing technical documentation and deliverables in a fast-paced environment, including the capability to research and analyze detailed technical processes and extract technical information.
    • Provides expertise related to emerging trends and technology in the writing industry, including experience with graphics used for government technology proposals.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years working as a technical writer, including at least 3 years supporting proposal teams.
    • Proficiency in computer technology/software required. Additional experience with graphic software is a plus.
    • Strong technical writing and communication skills are required.
    • Knowledge of basic aerospace technologies, with experience specifically in space a plus.
    • Experience with best practices for development and use of graphics to enhance narrative a plus.

    ** Salary range:** $100-115k. The salary range represents the low and high end of the Astroscale U.S. Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, knowledge, and ability as applicable to the role.
