Position City NC - Wilmington Building Location NC271 - Wilmington NC-1404 Wealth Off Job Type Regular Job Profile * Supports all risk and fraud/loss related processes. Minimizes operational risk and adheres to organizational policies and procedures. Acts as subject matter advisor.

    • Coaches staff to recognize risk and fraud/loss activities. Provides tools to aid in prevention and detection. Conducts risk-related coaching for branch employees and audit/security coaching for branch management.
    • Works with stakeholders and serves as an escalation contact on matters relating to fraudulent/suspicious activities where appropriate. * Self identifies areas of operational weakness and effects change with regard to operational risk and adherence to internal policies and procedures. * Researches and analyzes operational trends and risks to detect and/or prevent possible fraudulent or loss activities and transactions. Addresses complex situations and prepares appropriate documentation. Fraud Detection and Prevention - Extensive Experience * Knowledge of and ability to utilize processes, tools, and techniques for detecting, addressing and preventing fraudulent situations. Operational Risk - Extensive Experience * Knowledge of policies and processes for operational risk management; ability to use tools, data, and best practices to identify, assess, and manage operational risk exposures. Interpersonal Relationships - Extensive Experience * Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. Flexibility and Adaptability - Extensive Experience * Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt as needed. Coaching Others - Extensive Experience * Knowledge of coaching concepts and methods; ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals or teams in learning and improving effectiveness. Required Education and Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
