Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare financial analyses for various personal wealth management issues; including investments, estate planning, tax planning, debt management and insurance
- Information gathering for client financial matters
- Communication with client service team and outside client advisors
- Preparation of financial reports and presentations for clients
- Coordination and execution of investment strategies
- Research on investment ideas and wealth management strategies
- This is not a business development role.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 – 3 years of work experience in financial services industry
- In process of completion or willing to complete the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification
- Undergraduate business degree in accounting or finance
- Preferred 3.2 minimum cumulative GPA
- Either internship or full-time work experience in financial industry
- Strong financial analytical skills and understanding of basic financial concepts
- Desire to learn and grow professionally in the personal wealth management business
- Experience using Windows based software, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must consent to and have favorable consumer report, background check and drug/alcohol test
