  • Responsibilities

    The Transformation and Execution Division is responsible for overseeing the company’s Transformation program as part of its 10-year partnership with Google Cloud to transform global derivatives markets. The group also ensures that we have robust and comprehensive plans and execution capabilities to achieve our strategic goals and objectives across all areas of our business.

    Transformation and Execution seeks six interns for Summer 2025 hybrid roles based in the Chicago office. Responsibilities will vary depending on assigned manager but may include:

    • Identifying business requirements

    • Tracking and reporting on progress

    • Creating process documentation

    • Research topics to develop holistic processes and requirements

    • Perform independent research and analysis

    • Apply frameworks to project and create presentation report-out

    • Build analytical skills through assignments such as spreadsheet challenges and case studies

    Potential projects to be assigned:

    • Product Operating Model - GenAI

    • Product Operating Model - Agile Program Management

    • Product Operating Model - Knowledge Management

    • Global Processing & Reporting

    • Software Purchase / Management Program Support

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in business, communications, information science, technology, or other related field

    • Proficiency in all Google Workspace applications

    • Creative thinking and problem solving skills

    • Effective communication including excellent writing and presentation skills

    • Ability to work in a team and collaborate successfully

    • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks

    Bonus Qualifications:

    • Previous experience with project management and Agile methodology

    • Previous experience with Jira software

    • Previous experience with GenAI tools such (Gemini Code Assist, VertexAI)

    • Previous experience with coding (Python, Java)

    • Previous experience with Data Analysis and Business Analysis

    CME Group is committed to offering a competitive pay package for our employee interns. The annualized pay range typically applicable to our intern roles is $21.10--$35.14. Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
