    U.S. Bank Mainframe Developer Trainee - Cincinnati, OH in CINCINNATI, Ohio U.S. Bank is seeking motivated individuals to join our Technology Services Development organization as an entry level Mainframe Application Developer. Responsible for development and system development life cycle contributing towards the success of our technology initiatives. Assists in development, testing, implementation, and support of application systems. Executes test transactions in line with test plans. Codes and tests computer programs of low complexity and scope, works with detailed program specifications, and utilizes standard procedures and techniques. Gathers information to assist more senior technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems related to system functions, programming, and procedures. Writes documentation of all procedures used in the system. Develops detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for basic programs. Successful candidates, upon hire, will undergo 12 weeks of in-house training in the mainframe space including COBOL, JCL, CICS and many other development tools and our agile development methodology. Upon completing the training, candidates will join their development team and begin working on progressively more complex assignments on the mainframe applications. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications -Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience -At least 1 year experience with developing and implementing applications.
