    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    The Employee Experience & Corporate Tech team at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) is seeking current undergraduate students in their junior or senior year, as well as master’s students who are looking to enter in the field of User Experience (UX) Design in the summer of 2022 starting in June 2022 until the end of August 2022.

    Our UX Internship is a ten-week program centered around supporting budding UX and product design professionals by providing a welcoming and diverse environment to learn and grow in the financial technology space.

    As a UX Designer intern at JPMC, you will have hands-on experience designing real world projects, deepening your knowledge, and practicing new skills in partnership with dedicated mentors who will guide you through the entire journey of your internship.

    Upon successful completion of the internship, you will be invited to apply for a full time, paid position that aligns with your interests and skillset. The UX intern will partner with internal teams (UX design, UX research, Service Design, Operations) to learn, grow, and contribute to our portfolio. Interns will be mentored by design practitioners to research the needs of the user, create visual solutions, and implement design thinking within our projects. Design interns will communicate with a network of supportive colleagues to understand the firm, client needs, and the scope of our work.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING (OBJECTIVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

    To be considered for this internship position, you must meet the qualifications below.

    • Currently enrolled, full-time undergraduate student in your last year of your career, or a master’s student in a graduate program in UX design, product design, interaction design, human computer interaction, visual design or similar with an expected graduation date of Spring or Summer 2023

    • Available preferably full time (minimum half time) per week during the internship period.

    • Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment

    • Excellent organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

    • A digital portfolio or sample PDF demonstrating an ability to think from the perspective of the user
