Come join the Business Insights division or the UHC Operations Analytics team whose mission is simple and audacious - make the healthcare system better for everyone by driving action with data and analytics. In our team, we are guided by the desire to mature our solutions to be more descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive in nature, while at the same time build the relationships needed to be a trusted advisor,  working hand in hand with our business partners. Within this team you will be focused on UniHUB solution – which is a one stop shop reporting and analytics suite to serve our Premier clients – which is our top-level concierge service for our members.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for enhancing & maintaining our reporting and analytics suite for our Premier & Elite customer service clientele.
• Support Line of Directors and Operational Managers with reporting questions and issues
• Provide quality review and sign off for new data queries & dashboards in development
• Work with technical teams to review and troubleshoot reporting and data issues
• Document processes, best practices, and reporting requirements
• Work with cross functional teams to leverage more efficient business intelligence processes / architecture
• Translate highly technical concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
• Uncover the true unmet need of our business partners, and deliver solutions that make it simple for them to answer their most pressing questions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s  degree or 2+ years of work experience
• 1+ year experience working with SQL or performing data analysis (or equivalent)
• 1+ year experience working with data in Excel, Tableau, PowerBI (or equivalent)
• 1+ year of experience in analysis, problem solving, follow-through, and resolutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Creativity and strong willingness to think outside the box when building solutions
• Alteryx development experience (or equivalent)
• Predictive Analytics or Data Science experience/aspirations
• Agile and scrum experience

SOFT SKILLS:

• Competent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
