The PROVIDER CONFIGURATION ANALYST corporate objectives by utilizing specialized operational, business, department specific, and system knowledge to develop solutions and implement corrective actions based on detailed analysis of information systems configuration, and to establish business rules in the systems. Assists in the development of global information systems configuration strategy.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

TRAINING WILL BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY FROM YOUR HOME.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Configure benefits products and/or provider contracts within Facets claims system
• Demonstrate understanding of applicable systems/platforms (e.g., Facets; NetworX;)
• Demonstrate understanding of on-line communication tools (e.g., SharePoint; Outlook; Instant Messenger/Personal Communicator)
• Demonstrate understanding of relevant health-care programs (e.g., Medicaid; Medicare; Commercial; Individual)
• Demonstrate understanding of and/or ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Demonstrate and maintain understanding of policies, regulations, and operations of internal and/or external business partners
• Uses existing procedures and facts to solve routine problems or conduct routine analyses.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 2+ years of health benefits and/or provider contract experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access with the ability to create spreadsheets, v-lookups, pivot tables, sort, write queries, input/output and create macros.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree (or higher)
• Healthcare billing coding and knowledge
• Certified professional coder
• Facets/NetworX Benefit and/or Provider Contract Configuration experience

TELECOMMUTING REQUIREMENTS:

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

COLORADO, CONNECTICUT OR NEVADA RESIDENTS ONLY: The salary range for Colorado residents is $20.77 - $36.88. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $22.93 - $40.58.
