Position Overview:
Visa is searching for a Vice President of North America Marketing Services. As a key member of the Global Marketing Service leadership team and regional CMO leadership team, the selected candidate will drive the strategy, vision, and go to market approach to advance Marketing Services revenue and increase profitability as part of the Visa 2030 strategy. Marketing Services is a growing business and part of Visa’s overall strategic growth priority to deliver value added services revenue through client engagements. We are focused on delivering value to our clients through marketing advisory, sponsorship, creative services, and end-to-end marketing execution. This role partners closely with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), our sales organizations, and Finance to execute a range of services. We are looking for a leader who has the experience and proven track record taking a large revenue-generating business and scaling even further, as well as experience managing a large P&L with strong financial acumen. The ideal candidate will have a very strong sales and business development background selling not only Marketing, but representing Visa during large, complex company deal pitches by articulating the value of Visa through marketing. We are searching for an accomplished presenter at various levels and audience sizes, someone with experience building new capabilities and services thinking beyond the traditional marketing space that drives scalable revenue and impact to clients, and someone who is a solid leader with experience building a world-class team and fostering a strong sense of engagement and culture with the team. This person will report directly to the SVP, Global Marketing Services, and dual report into the NA CMO.
Key Responsibilities:
Will consider all US-based Visa offices. Given global nature of the role, flexibility to accommodate meetings across many time zones required.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Work Hours

Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 30%-50% of the time.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD)
• 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with expertise in global/multi-region marketing.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field desired. MBA preferred.
• Proven track record developing and executing high-impact, insight-driven, integrated marketing strategies that drive step-change business results
• Independent, self-starter with a proven record of driving complex strategies across large teams
• Strong relationship building experience along with the ability to collaborate and work across regions and various business units
• Deep influencing skills across a matrixed environment
• Superior analytic and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytic rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze financial models
• Ability to structure and manage complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
• Able to identify issues, conduct analyses, synthesize findings, and make recommendations
• Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior level executives. Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written communication.
• Establishes a goal-oriented culture and continually raises the bar for organizational achievement.
• Executes decisions with the goals and vision of the company in mind. Acts as a representative of the company brand both internally and externally.
• Client marketing, consulting, sales, or other client-facing experience required
• Prior experience identifying, scoping, pitching, and advising Clients on data-driven marketing strategies preferred. In-market or in-region experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of the payments marketing landscape and working knowledge of payment product economics preferred
• Comfortable operating in ‘white space’ proactively pursuing innovative ideas/capabilities. Building out a “playbook” approach enabling scalable/ repeatable solutions.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to partner with all divisions of Finance
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and collaboration skills. Team player.
• Proven leader with a track record of building and developing diverse, top performing, and highly engaged teams
• A leader who prioritizes nurturing talent, providing a lot of active feedback, acknowledging work, and helping people grow in their craft and careers

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 200,900 to 369,300 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
