    Job Description

    Visa Commercial Solutions is the business unit responsible for growing all flows between businesses and governments from SMBs to the largest global corporates. The VCS, Global Fleet and Mobility Product team has responsibility for supporting the Fleet product and strategy of VCS’ commercial solutions. The team works collaboratively with Product Solutions, Product Platform, Partnerships, Commercial Sales, and key enterprise teams, across both global and region stakeholders, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and positioning.

    During the internship, you will work on one or more hands-on projects with the team. Our summer internship also equips you with social and professional networking events and developmental workshops, designed to provide you the resources and training to have an impactful summer.

    Some examples of summer intern job duties and projects:

    • Work with cross-functional teams to research, identify, or analyze product data needs, and support market facing positioning
    • Navigate effectively across internal organizations in support of complex product requirements needed for successful data classification
    • Investigate causes of missing data incidents and identify corrective actions
    • Collaborate and coordinate with experts throughout the company as well as to develop, support and help execute and/or help drive clean transaction data that flows to the respective parties

    As a summer Intern, specific assignments will depend on upon your skills sets, interest, and team needs.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field graduating December 2024 or later
    • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proactive, team player who executes tasks in a timely manner with a high level of quality.
    • Ability to complete the analysis, craft conclusions, and deliver strong recommendations.
    • Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on.
    • Strong ability to collaborate and engage in creative thinking.
    • Background in data visualization and strong attention to detail and presentation skills.
    • Highly driven, resourceful, and results oriented.
    • Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills.

    • Interpersonal skills demonstrated through past experience developing internal, external, and cross functional relationships.

    Additional Information

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $25.00 to $30.00 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.     ** Travel Requirements:** - This position may require the incumbent to travel to the San Francisco office as needed.
