    Job Description

    We recently established the Finance Velocity Office, designed to accelerate our path to accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function. This newly created function will shape our transformation strategy, improve our business operations and enhance the impact we make as a function. Why velocity? This newly dedicated team will help us drive global consistency and operate as one team to:

    • Build a foundation that supports the growth and complexity of our business and improves the day-to-day interactions of our Finance teams.

    • Modernize our processes to enable better, faster decision making and drive more timely insights for our clients and business partners.

    • Implement technology to evolve how we work together to achieve meaningful, sustainable change and enable our long-term growth agenda.

    • Ensure a clear and measurable set of KPIs against our Finance OKRs and Scorecard to track, report and recognize key milestones and impact statements for our work product.

    This is an individual contributor role, reporting to a leader in the Finance Velocity Office . This individual will partner closely with key stakeholders across the Finance function to achieve workstream objectives in alignment with the overall Finance Transformation strategy.

    Essential Functions:

    Execution

    • Maintain project cadence by preparing transformation progress updates, presentations, trackers, and other key project tasks.

    • Prepare analysis and reporting to drive critical initiative deliverables (business cases, current state assessments / target state design, business requirements, process mapping, SWOT analysis, etc.)

    • Identify and propose process improvements, including the identification of critical pain points across finance processes.

    • Find and present insights to evaluate transformation objectives using industry best practices.

    • Work in a team environment to document transformation project deliverables, key milestones, risks, and business impact.

    • Ensure that project program status is maintained with complete accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Proactively engage key transformation stakeholders to understand and anticipate project needs.

    • Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve processes.

    Monitoring & Reporting

    • Develop regular and timely reports highlighting specific project statuses, and escalate issues with proposed solutions, as needed.

    • Identify, manage, monitor, and communicate key transformation performance management metrics, developing and maintaining key dashboards.

    • Document key transformation roadmap updates for senior leadership in multiple forms (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, email).

    Collaboration

    • Coordinate key transformation meetings, collaborating across the business and the Transformation Team to ensure attendance.

    • Maintain meeting transformation agendas and notes, schedules meetings, and coordinates after action responsibilities.

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Basic Qualifications:
    • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
    • Experience in 1 or more finance process area including FP&A, Accounting, or Finance Operations
    • Project management skills and experience in organizing across cross-functional teams, especially across projects with competing resources and priorities with proven experience in thriving in a rapidly evolving team/transformation environment
    • Resourceful, creative and solution oriented in ambiguous situations with willingness to “wear many hats”, as needed
    • Excellent skills in creating and delivering presentations for executive leadership (PPT, Excel)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into a compelling narrative, and in a variety of formats (e.g., presentations, talking points, executive summaries)
    • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
    • Data entry capabilities with speed and accuracy
    • Strong analytical skills and problem solver
    • Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills in a global, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams
    • Ability to remove team impediments, identify issues and risks, craft corresponding mitigation plans and bring them up to appropriate decision-makers
    • Exceptional personal accountability and the highest of ethical standards
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with specific strong Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and calendar management skills
    • Self-starter and team player

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 191,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
