The BOSS team gets involved in every new portfolio company early in the investment in order to help the company transition to best practice processes by implementing a best practice systems footprint. BOSS is widely recognized as one of the most important steps in the entire value creation process. We are hiring an ERP Consultant, responsible for helping migrate a portfolio company to a new ERP solution during a business applications implementation project at a portfolio company. In this role the ERP Consultant will partner with employees at the portfolio company to map existing process flows and determine future state processes and ERP design that will enable the company to implement Vista Best Practices. In this role the ERP Consultant will manage the Finance and Accounting tracks in one or more implementation projects. These tracks could include work in Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, professional services automation, or other standard business practices. Duties and Responsibilities * Manage individual ERP-focused tracks within Business Applications transformation projects from project kick-off through post go-live stabilization * Become an expert on Vista Best Practices and how VCG implements business systems to enable them, including creating workflows, reports, and dashboards required * Gather and analyze business requirements and critical data elements across functional areas. * Serve as an expert in ERP configuration and guide team members in configuration decisions to align to system capabilities and Vista Best Practices * Deliver recommendations for business process improvements and implement recommendations * Develop training and train users on critical business systems and processes * Drive or participate in internal initiatives to improve VCG and Business Applications tools, processes, quality and results * Build relationships with and guide working teams at portfolio companies and within VCG * BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field * At least 3 years of experience administering or implementing an ERP application such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Intaact * Excellent understanding of standard Finance and Accounting functions and processes * Possess strong presentation and group facilitation skills * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage to a tight schedule * Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, including using Excel * Willingness to travel 2-3 nights per week on a consistent basis, with longer and/or weekend travel required at critical periods 10 hours ago - save job - original job Apply On Company Site Other jobs you may like AVP,Business Consultant I-Business Banking Cl...
