Westlake Services continues to expand launching a new company called Nowpay. Nowpay provides credit, debit, and ACH processing, related equipment and software, fraud prevention, and other payment merchant services.

Nowpay will be a fintech company moving into the payments space, taking a technology-first approach to payments and finance for inbound and outbound payments, focusing on direct integrations with card networks and banks allowing us to create a one-stop-shop for all thing’s payments!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Seeking payment industry and operations experts to build and manage the relationships with the card brands, our sponsor banks, and settlement platforms (TSYS, First Data, and Elavon). Tasks include the following:
• Implement BINs and ICAs and manage relationship with processing platform (First Data, TSYS)
• Solve and respond to questions related to our BINs and ICAs
• Identify helpful card network portal access and tools
• Design, implement, and document business and operational systems and processes including compliance processes and procedures, merchant support tools, and transaction disputes/chargebacks
• Setup merchant MIDs and parameters for account creation, accurately input all account details, pricing model, account changes, etc.
• Maintain change logs, CRM inputs, merchant data edits, etc.
• Complete reporting requirements for the card brands and sponsor banks
• Build pricing categories within our boarding platform, maintain interchange and card brand assessments for bundles and pass-through pricing models
• Create and maintain the look and feel of our merchant statements
• Build and execute our dispute resolution and treasury strategies related to payment operations, including settlement, reconciliation, and transaction disputes
• Use an array of tools and work closely with our tech team to build and deliver fraud detection and prevention strategies 
• Work closely with our tech team to develop, deploy, and maintain compliance processes and related reporting
• Perform payments-specific business analysis to inform both our risk management and go-to-market strategies 
• Provide data insights on all aspects of business practices, use data to identify opportunities for process improvement, risk management, go-to-market strategies, and executing on strategic initiatives
• Identify Service Provider requirements, monitor procedures, and registration process
• Register partners, Service Providers, and sub-ISOs as needed or required by the card brands
• Establish third party partners for monitoring PCI, BRAM Compliance, transaction monitoring, and other risk controls
• Establish third party partnerships for gateways, device provisioning, and fulfilment
• Create system and process for billing merchants outside of merchant accounts
• Engage with merchants to collect negative balances
• Create and process commissions to sales partners

EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years experience in finance, banking, treasury, or a commensurate field 
• Deep understanding / subject matter expertise in payment solutions, payment gateways, and overall credit card transactions flows - including both traditional platforms and modern API platforms
• Experience partnering with acquiring banks and credit card companies
