    We have an exciting opportunity for an analytical student to join our Total Rewards team for summer 2025! As the Compensation Intern, you will receive guided, on-the-job training on real-life compensation projects that help Ingredion attract, retain and motivate its talent. You will receive exposure to multiple countries’ compensation programs, base salary as well as short and long-term incentives as well as Workday-related projects.

    Your role will be:

    • Provide compensation support to Human Resources Business Partners in areas such as market analysis, job evaluation and internal equity reviews.
    • Document compensation plan eligibility rules, collaborate with HRIS to implement in Workday and assist in developing HR/Service Center/Manager training where appropriate.
    • Survey Ingredion rewards professionals, documenting compensation administration practices and policies. Create a going-forward document and participate in validation and approval of the contents.
    • Participate in compensation salary surveys.
    • Learn Ingredion Long-term incentive plan offerings, participate in equity plan administration and prepare 2026 equity grant estimate.
    • Present project status, updates, and outcomes to team and key partners.
    • Present project accomplishments and/or recommendations to management at completion of internship period.

    Your profile needs these qualifications:

    • Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or an analytical field such as Finance, Economics or other with an interest in a HR/Total Rewards career.
    • Willingness to work in an office and hybrid work environment.
    • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) - vlookup, pivot tables, named ranges, mail merges are examples of Excel skills that will be used.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written technical communication skills, e.g. making presentations and writing communications.
    • Reliable transportation required to get to and from Westchester Office each work day.

    You’ll need these skills to be successful:

    • Proven ability to deliver under agreed upon deadlines
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with peers and others
    • Solid teamwork skills and creative problem solving

    To be eligible for consideration, candidates must:

    • Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Ingredion does not intend to sponsor work visas with respect to this position or to provide this position as OPT or CPT.
    • Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor’s degree program. If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior.
