The Packaging Engineering Co-Op will provide technical solutions to the Argo maintenance and packaging operations teams. This role will collaborate with operations associates, maintenance technicians, and leadership to ensure high utilization of packaging assets in alignment with personnel safety, food safety, and product quality expectations. This role will maintain documented best operational practices for packaging lines.
Core Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to maintenance and operations groups including process studies, troubleshooting, process optimization, and analysis of historical data to identify, monitor and control key operating parameters.
• Keep historical data, to analyze and to monitor key efficiencies and parameters against design to assist operations with meeting costs and production goals.
• Provide technical support to project engineers when designing or redesigning work processes for improvements in performance and workplace safety.
• Execute capital projects as assigned within scope, timing, and budget constraints.
• Develops and validates Standard Operating Procedures and completes Management of Change (MOC) to ensure technical proficiency and validity of documentation.
• Routinely review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all processes and documentation adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and FSSC22000 standards, as well as ICH Q7 standards for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) where applicable.
• Support initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost performance.
Qualified candidates will have:
• Progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Food Engineering.
• Strong initiative and ability to deal with ambiguity.

• Competency with word processing, database, and spreadsheet experience.
• Project management skills, including multi-tasking and time management.
