This is an opportunity to support the product development work for our handcrafted beverages and the partners within Beverage R&D. This role will encompass both hands-on beverage development work and administrative support. 

    As a product development specialist, you will…

    • Support product development projects via product testing, tastings, lab tests and consumer testing 
    • Assist in beverage presentations and product testing (product development, shelf-life)
    • Complete formulation & culinary work as assigned
    • Prepare beverage component prep as needed
    • Measures analytical data (pH, brix, moisture content, solid content, and other physical properties) as needed.
    • Provide calendar support and perform administrative tasks or projects such as project updates, tracking budgets, invoice coding, scheduling/coordinating travel, creating and submitting expense reports, and etc 
    • Support team activities
    • Coordinate routine projects that support department or functional initiatives
    • May prepare charts, tables, graphs, menues, labels and ppt presentation materials to support functional work  
    • May assist with on boarding of new partners

  • Qualifications

    We’d love to hear from people with:

    • Degrees in food science, culinary or related fields
    • One-year experience as a barista, mixologist or product development
    • One-year experience as an administrative assistant, coordinator, project manager or proven ability to manage schedules and calendars
    • Profficient in Microsoft Office

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and meet deadlines
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and part of a team
