JOB SUMMARY AND MISSION This job contributes to Starbucks success by completing engineering assignments and projects that develop technology and methods innovations to enhance productivity and capacity in Starbucks Retail Operations team.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Engineering (industrial, electrical, mechanical, or chemical) 3 years
Experience in consumer products or food company and plant experience, 3 years either technical or production
Project management: 3 years
Supervision, including direct supervision of contractors: 1 year
Starbucks field management experience preferred. Retail operations multi-unit management, implementation and/or project management in a retail or restaurant environment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Team-building skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Technical leadership, with the ability to coach and mentor team partners.
Presents implementation strategies and recommendations to Global Operations leadership utilizing the Retail Operating Model (consideration of the Partner, Customer, and Business impact) as a filter and framework.
Abilities to effectively create, manage, and executive projects
Strong knowledge of retail store operations, processes and procedures, and technological aspects of retail
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to manage large or highly-complex projects
Ability to assess the impact of change and develop processes to ensure effective implementation and user acceptance of new processes, products, procedures or methods
