OVERVIEW

Responsible for working with the lead designer and designers across individual feature development teams to take point in planning a cohesive narrative element across upcoming and future game features and releases, as well as operational coordination of our localization pipeline. The ideal candidate is comfortable writing and editing English-language text, having collaborative creative sessions with other designers, and planning a compelling casual fairy tale story to be discovered by our players.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Connecting upcoming game features through character stories and charming writing.
• Contribute to design brainstorms, ideation, and feature planning.
• Write internal narrative documents, game character profiles, and plan an evolving story for a casual game.
• Write and edit English-language player-facing game text.
• Coordinate with localization partners to send strings for translation, answer questions about that text, and input the localized text into game tools.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Independent thinker capable of tackling creative challenges.
• Adept at written and verbal communication.
• Experience with creative writing and storytelling.
• Mastery of the English language and experienced at editing text.
• 3-5 years Game Design (Narrative, Writing or Content Design) experience as an appropriate understanding of the industry and our casual game audience.
