Extensive working experience using applicant tracking systems such Smart Recruiters (new), and the PeopleSoft HRIS systems software.
Ability to meet constantly changing deadlines; juggle multiple and high-volume competing priorities/assignments simultaneously.
Working knowledge of the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) Civil Service Rules in relation to eligible list, certifications/referrals, appointments and separations.
Knowledge of applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and Memoranda of Understanding (MOU).
Ability to analyze and make logical and independent decisions and/or provide recommendations for decision.
Excellent judgment in handling confidential personnel issues appropriately and sensitively.
Attention to detail and meticulous
Ability to positively face difficult situations, challenges and handle stress.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
High proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Bilingual proficiency and may receive bilingual pay after passing an exam for bilingual city certification
Qualifications
Experience and Training Guidelines:
Two (2) years of verifiable experience performing complex technical or clerical duties in a human resources environment; AND ability to type/keyboard 40 words per minute.
