We offer innovative products and provide customer service that surpass the industry standard. Due to growth, we are seeking to hire a Draftsman/ Designer. This person will assist in compiling drawing bills of materials along with creating mechanical and structural designs for product parts, subassemblies, compressor packages, piping systems, and electrical systems using 3-D CAD Systems. This position is intended as a mid- entry point with the qualified person having 1 -3 years of drafter experience. Responsibilities: * Modeling, detailing, documenting and verifying mechanical, structural, subassemblies, process & instrumentation drawings, or complete assemblies. * Creating 3-D models, depicting relationship of component and parts; identifying dimensions, design requirements, tolerances and materials * Prepare pressure vessel calculations and drawings with guidance from engineering, using pressure vessel software * Preparing Drawing Bills of Materials * Ensures quality of drawings and document control according to department standards * Makes various calculations and frequently uses charts and tables to accommodate the design process * Analyzing the effect of proposed changes for proper fit and/or interference problems * Recommending workable solutions or alternate construction and modifying drawings as required * Requires use of computers, proficient using 3-D CAD design; proficient using complete Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), proficient with email system, Microsoft Outlook preferred; strong creative ability to design and develop mechanical, structural, electrical, electronic equipment * Modeling, detailing, documenting and verifying mechanical, structural, subassemblies, process & instrumentation drawings, or complete assemblies. * Creating 3-D models, depicting relationship of component and parts; identifying dimensions, design requirements, tolerances and materials Skills and Qualifications:

    • Associates Degree or Technical School Training in ME, EE, Computer Aided Design Technology * 1-2 years designing and documenting mechanical, structural, piping, pressure vessels or combination of education and experience * Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills * Knowledge of drafting standards * Experience in HVAC preferred * Working knowledge in compression, pipe spool drawings, or code vessels * Familiarity with any of the following tools: Inventor, AutoCAD, CEI Design Calcs software Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
