    Job Details Job Title Airport Shuttlebus Driver (2nd & 3rd shifts Available) Job ID 500872 Location City of Charlotte Full/Part Time Regular/Temporary Close Date 04/12/2018 ------------ CoC Job Details Major Duties and Responsibilities: Drive shuttle buses at Charlotte Douglas International Airport transporting the traveling public and luggage between the terminal and parking facilities. Deal courteously with the public and represent the Airport in a positive, professional manner. Provide information about the Airport to the public and assist travelers with ground transportation matters. Recognize safety hazards and use appropriate precautions. Complete related paperwork such as vehicle inspection reports and vehicle work orders. Perform light cleaning inside assigned bus (i.e. clean windows, empty trash, sweep). Under some circumstances, may be required to assist passengers with baggage. Assists passengers in boarding or exiting the vehicle as necessary, including operation of wheelchair lift and wheelchair restraints. Minimum Qualifications: High school Diploma/GED and at least one year of professional driving experience, or no Diploma/GED and three years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work/industry/military/job specific experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the essential job duties. Requires a Class B CDL with Passenger and Air Brakes Endorsements, and the ability to obtain and maintain a City Driving Permit. Salary: $36,248/yr. Conditions of Employment: Works second or third shift in a 24/7/365 schedule, including weekends and holidays. Subject to overtime, calls back to work for urgent/emergency situations and work during inclement weather.
