    Job Description

    Under supervision, the 1820 Junior Administrative Analyst will assist with and perform professional level analytical work in a variety of functional areas, such as: administration of contractual agreements; grant administration and monitoring; budget development and administration; legislative analysis; development and evaluation of management/administrative policy; program evaluation and planning; quantitative and qualitative data analysis; or complex financial/fiscal analysis and reporting.

    The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

    1. Assists in the complex integration of Airport sub-systems such as SFO SOLIS, Airport Billing Management (ABM) and Ground Transportation Management System (GTMS) billing systems, the Capital Planning System (CPS) that processes capital funding requests, the Contract Management and Compliance System (CMCS), Unifier project management system.
    2. Processes accounting functions and analytical work related to voucher payments, direct payments, contracts, project funding, abatement of charges, project closeouts, purchase orders, requisitions, Prop Q, employee reimbursements, petty cash, general ledger, revenue, and budget in conformance with established policies and procedures.
    3. Records accounts receivable and revenue accrual entries for Grants and Other Transaction Agreements, prepare grant related journal entries, schedules, analysis, and report package as required by Grant Agreements.
    4. Reconciles internal labor reports with functional timesheets and prepare payroll abatements to reallocate expenditures.
    5. Assists in the creation of Prepared-By-Client (PBC) analysis and documentation for Audits.
    6. Participates in the fiscal year-end closing, including annual, interim, and year-end audits.
    7. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university

    Substitution: May substitute up to 2 years of the required education with qualifying full-time, professional-level experience in budget analysis, financial analysis and reporting, legislative/policy analysis, data analysis, or contract/grant administration. One year (2,000 hours) of qualifying experience will be considered equivalent to 30 semester/45 quarter units

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Advanced computer skills including Excel and Word.
    • Self-starter, proactive, able to meet assignment due date, and detail-oriented.
    • Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a team and fast paced environment.

    One year full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours (2,000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40 hour work week). Any overtime hours that you work above 40 hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.
