Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst
Job Description
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing the ERP data reporting and dashboard functions for the OPAL ERP and DW/BI project. The ERP Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst’s focus areas include implementation of all analytics and reporting aspects of the ERP project including BI and third-party applications. This is a permanent exempt position that will move to maintenance and support after the project is complete.
The purpose of this position is to work on a team that will analyze the reporting and analytics requirements of the project and refine them, work with a team of implementation consultants to design the system, conduct initial user acceptance testing, train city personnel, helps to integrate the system with other city software, and launch the software in phases. Reports and dashboards will be primarily built within the Workday environment, but additional third-party reporting tools may be considered. After the project is launched, the team will conduct an optimization phase by analyzing and implementing changes to improve performance. As the Workday ERP is a Software as a Service (SaaS) model it follows the continuous process improvement methodology.

Working hours are generally 37.5 hours per week. Our team is currently hybrid and must come into the office once every two weeks, but policies and requirements can change. This position can opt-in to go into the office each day if desired.
