The Parks and Recreation Aide II – Recreation Center staff duties could include, but not be limited to:
Planning, leading and supervising diversified recreational programs and services including activities for all ages in a multi-use recreation center;
Supervise weight room, gym and game rooms
Greet customers and monitors program areas
Enforce facility policies and procedures
Physically sets up rooms including tables, chairs and recreation equipment
Program and work with preschool, youth, teen and adult populations
May assist where needed to help build a comprehensive fitness program and wellness activities
May transport patrons in a city vehicle
Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on then current workloads and department needs.

Some site may require a current and valid Virginia or North Carolina drivers license in accordance with Virginia or North Carolina DMV drivers license eligibility requirements. The individual selected for this position will be housed at a primary site but may be scheduled between other sites/facilities.
