Position Summary
The Information Technology (IT) Technician Intern for the Department of Planning and Development will assist in imaging and deployment of new computers.
Essential Functions
The essential functions for this internship include:
-Basic knowledge of computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
-Knowledge about installation/upgrade of Windows computers.
-Troubleshooting and problem-solving hardware and software issues.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Knowledge about installing and updating Windows operating systems.
-Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
-Resourcefulness in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
-Basic hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
-Attention to detail.
Qualifications
Undergraduate level studies, majors include Information Technology or a related field
