JOB DESCRIPTION Provides administrative support to CPS case managers by managing appointments, maintaining required program documentation, assisting workers in researching information needed to develop case plans and preparing for court, preparing informational material used for CPS presentations and client education and providing child care during family meetings. Assists in the implementation of service plans developed by the CPS workers which includes transporting children and families to counseling and medical appointments, as well as community resources. Consults with social workers to address issues or service needs of clients. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; give attention to detail and possess strong time management skills. JOB REQUIREMENTS Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree with courses in Social Work or a related field; and 2 years of directly related experience. PREFERRED Bilingual in Spanish Direct experience working in Child Protective Services SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift infants and/or carry small children Must have a valid driver's license May be requested to travel outside of the county May be required to work outside of the standard, schedule work week Home visits may be necessary In the event of an emergency, may be required to work and may be assigned to an alternate work site to carry out duties that support the needs of the County's residents or employees POST CONDITIONAL OFFER CONTINGENCIES Successful candidate will undergo criminal background, CPS and DMV record checks CONCLUSION Loudoun County Regular Full-time Employees are eligible for full benefits including but not limited to the following as a part of a total rewards package!
