  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This internship will assist the Department with the administration of the Mixed Income Housing program through process improvements and data management. The person in this position with collaborate with staff in different units to organize files and data, while optimizing a new database and sorting through project histories.

    Working hours are generally 10-15 hours per week.

    Essential Functions

    Essential functions include collaborating with staff in different units to organize files and data, optimizing a new database, digging through project histories, and making recommendations on how to best process MIH projects and associated documents and data.

    Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Interest in affordable housing programs and/or public administration, a positive attitude, and proficiency with excel. There may be additional opportunities to apply skills related to Quickbase, data processing, and report writing.

    Student must be currently enrolled at an accredit college or university during the Fall 2024 Semester. majors include

    Public Administration, Urban Planning, Urban Studies, Real Estate Development, Data Processing, Economic Development
