Position Summary
OEM is seeking a Training and Exercise Coordinator. Candidates for this position should possess a strong desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, professional public safety environment, and a willingness to serve the public in the sixth largest city in the nation. The Training and Exercise Coordinator reports to the Training & Exercise Program Manager. The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, think and communicate clearly, develop, and maintain professional interpersonal relationships, and is self-motivated, inquisitive, and adept at working with diverse groups.
The Training and Exercise Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of training opportunities for OEM staff and Emergency Management partners so they have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from complex events and emergencies.

Salary Range: Starting at $68,761 commensurate with education and experience.
