Job Description
The City of Philadelphia seeks a qualified candidate to join OTIS’ Office of Multimodal Planning (OMP) as a Vision Zeron (VZ) Project Coordinator. This position will be involved in the implementation and execution of a wide range of projects to advance the goals of the City’s Vision Zero Action Plan and CONNECT Transportation Plan. Through their work they will ensure the successful execution of projects and will advance transportation equity and make Philadelphia a safer, more accessible city for all roadway users.
The VZ Project Coordinator will be part of a team of planners, engineers, and other professionals with a portfolio of projects in a specific region of the city. They will serve as the subject matter expert on the Vision Zero initiative to ensure that all projects in their region incorporate the best practices for traffic safety. They are responsible for advancing the goals set out in the Vizion Zero Action Plan during the entire lifecycle of project plans with complete, accurate, and current data points and results. The VZ Project Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day completion of project deliverables on specific projects, overseeing consultants, and coordinating and communicating as needed across different stakeholder groups. The VZ Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating multiple efforts to move the project plans forward and in a timely manner. They must be able to identify any gaps and implement plans to increase efficiency and operations within the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and able to take initiative and ask questions and should thrive in collaborative environments. They should possess strong data analysis skills and a solid background in data analysis. They should also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate complex concepts to laypersons and experts across multiple mediums. Candidates should have strong project management and implementation skills and the ability to coordinate across City departments and partner agencies.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
