    Job Description

    As a Copywriter, you have the chops to write and the strategic imagination it takes to think of big ideas. Your career is picking up speed and you’re in full-on creation mode. Jumping at new briefs and energized by new insights, you are a conceptual machine.

    You love to dabble in all things words: digital creative, traditional scripts, social posts, brand tone of voice, data-driven concepts—there’s nothing you won’t write.

    You’re gaining confidence in your presentation style and learning more about how the work you do fits into the greater creative process.

    Copywriters are creative engines—always playing, thinking and experimenting with different ways to express big ideas.

    ** Responsibilities**

    • Conceptual copywriting for digital media, digital content, paid and organic social
    • Support larger creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation
    • Complete research projects and other day-to-day requests
    • Assist in asset creation and deliver work you are proud of
    • Use your strong strategic sense and concept against a creative brief
    • Stay up to date on current and latest industry trends
    • Maintain high quality on creative deliverables
    • Participate and help plan community-building events
    • Proactive in finding ways to support the creative team
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    We’re looking for a copywriter who is both exceptionally qualified and a delight to work with, which usually includes:

    • A four-year degree (preferably in English, journalism or a related field) and 2-4 years of stellar work experience, preferably in an advertising or interactive agency.
    • Energy, a sense of humor, and an open and curious mind (yes, these things really do matter).
    • A love of words and a love of culture, both the good old stuff and the sizzling new pop stuff.
    • Communication skills that leave no room for questions or angst — you’re straightforward, you’re candid and, above all, you’re thoughtful and kind.
    • Versatile writing chops with strong experience on large cross-channel and/or direct-marketing initiatives across digital and print media, including social, web, mobile, and video (both broadcast and digital).
    • A willingness to travel as needed (hey, new places, new faces, new ideas — right?).
    • An innate curiosity with a desire to ask the big questions while also being willing to drop down in the weeds and do the work whether flashy or more routine.
    • Experience working in or alongside regulated industries (like finance, healthcare, those sorts of things) a huge plus.
    • Professionalism, maturity, and a distinct lack of ego.
