Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager – Houston, TX

Kelaca is hiring a Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager for our client in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Nuclear QA programs, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with ASME III, 10CFR21, 10CFR50, ANSI N45.2, and ASME NQA-1.
• Perform and oversee audits, corrective actions, and compliance reviews.
• Manage QA databases and documentation.
• Train employees on QA programs and continual improvement initiatives.
• Limited travel for audits and source surveillances.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in technical, business, science, or engineering (or military nuclear qualification).
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience, preferably in the nuclear industry.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or production environments.
• Working knowledge of the relevant nuclear programs for compliance to ASME III, 10CFR21, 10CFR50, Appendix B, ANSI N45.2, and ASME NQA-1.
• Thorough working knowledge of applicable ASME , ISO9001, ANSI, and SNT-TC-1A (NDE) industry standards and specifications.
• ASME II materials and ASME V non-destructive examination methods.
• Lead Auditor certification a plus.

Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM | Exempt
